Bio: Originally from Scotland, I moved to Saudi Arabia on a bit of a whim (I was bored and doing some half hearted job searches) in December 2013. I love my life here and divide my time between work, exploring my new home and travelling as much as possible. This Blog lets me explore my passion for travel, mindfulness and functional nutrition. For now most of the posts are my own personal observations and thoughts, but I have plans to gain relevant qualifications and, in time, offer workshops and retreats focusing on these areas - keep in touch for progress. I love to hear from people who enjoy my posts so please do send me a quick message (or simply click 'like') if you've enjoyed what you've read. Thanks for stopping by. 1. You’re welcome. I really enjoyed your post and it was such a coincidence I had been thinking about the same thing earlier in the day.

  1. Hello,

I am the content editor for EasyExpat.com and have been following your blog since you listed it with us at BlogExpat. I think it would be great in our series of expat interviews. This would entail questions about being an expat, a few pictures, and it would link back to your blog.

Here is a link to our latest interviews: http://interviews.blogexpat.com/blog/english

If you are interested, just let me know and I will send the questionnaire. In any case, keep up the good work!

    1. Hi Erin Thank you so much I would be delighted to complete the questionnaire for you. I’ve enjoyed reading some of the others.

    2. Hi Erin

I’m not sure if my earlier reply reached you, so just in case… I would love to take part in the Expat interviews – it’s great reading about other people’s lives all over the world.

    1. Hi Diya thanks for following me. Your blog seems like a lot of fun son likewise I’m looking forward to reading more. I can totally relate to what you said about your mum rolling her eyes as you start yet another project – that’s so me! But so far Blogging seems to be holding my interest…

      1. Thank you hon! Glad you enjoyed the blog 🙂

And yes… mums can be our worst critics sometimes 😉 Kudos on sticking with blogging for so long! Keep your fingers (and some toes for good measure) crossed for me too 🙂
